My Story
Hello.I first was introduced to Scentsy when my sister became a consultant. She was one of the very first in our area and in our state to sell Scentsy. I fell in love with the product immediately. I had always been a devout Yankee Candle fan but had begun to be disappointed in certain aspects of the candles. One of the biggest was the black soot! When Scentsy came into my life it was perfect timing. I had recently had a little girl and was so happy to find a safer alternative to candle burning while not losing any of the great scents. I didn't go into selling right away. I began by bringing my sister order after order until finally she told me "you really need to sell this yourself"! It was at that time that I took the plunge. I don't consider myself a salesperson at all so I was a little nervous. The good thing is, that Scentsy products SELL THEMSELVES! I've never had to "push" the product on anyone. I just set up my stock at a show or a party... and the product does the rest. I was also so nervous about asking anyone to join my team. I was scared of that "NO"! But once I finally signed my first recruit it showed me that it really wasn't so bad. My team is now 20+ strong and growing. We have a great support system for questions and help and I have developed some great relationships.
